About the Author

Michelle C. Taylor is a native of Stony Creek, Virginia and has been a avid reader since childhood. She began writing short stories and poems over the years as her passion for creative writing developed.
Michelle is an exceptional and talented writer who believes through the power of GOD nothing is impossible. She uses real life everyday issues to encourage,motivate, and give a sense of hope.
A writer for over fifteen years, with two self published two books. Mental Incarceration, “It’s All in Your Mind”, was her first published work and was released in February 1998. The book sold over 600 copies the first week. Michelle later decided to venture into motivational speaking and in March 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia she launched “Innovation Seminar Services”. She then went on to publish her second self-publish book a religious/inspirational handbook entitle “Jesus Lives” in May 2005.
Michelle work has appeared in Imani magazine in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also a former host of a weekly gospel radio show on WFTH 1590 in Richmond. Her latest work is her first Christian novel entitled “Trouble Won’t Last Always” which was released in March 2008 under Urban Books/Kensington Publishing.
Beyond her literary endeavors, she is a born-again believer in Christ Jesus and has a great love for the Lord and in November 2004 she was licensed into the ministry. Through her writing Michelle hopes to encourage everyone to experience the inexhaustible love of Jesus Christ.
Michelle currently resides in Richmond, VA with her husband, and their three children. She is the daughter of Revered Joe H. Caple and Gracie Caple. She is a graduate of Kee Business College with a Degree in Business Computer Administration and currently pursuing her Masters in Theology at the Samuel Dewitt School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.
In her spare time Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
